Hurricanes, Mercury Retrograde, Solar Eclipse and Flares oh my! Lately it seems we aren’t in Kansas anymore. Even if you aren’t living on the coast in Texas or Florida, I’m sure you have felt some sort of storm in your own neck of the woods.
Let’s Source-Code the recent happenings to make sense of the messages we are being given, and maybe how you can come out of the storm in a balanced and empowered way. I know sometimes people be like, “Jon…dude…not everything means something. Don’t you think you are stretching there a bit? Or “Not everything needs to be Source-Code Translated.” To which I say, “Either there is meaning in everything or no meaning in anything.!” You can’t have it both ways, and since our world…our entire universe is written with and embedded with Source-Code then it stands to reason that everything has a deeper meaning. Source-Code Translators can’t help but see and look for the purposeful messages in everything. Sooooo let’s get started…
August 8th – Lion’s Gate (The star Sirius is Conjunct/Aligned with our Star we call “sun”)
Our higher/divine-selves (Sirius) are reaching down to our egos (Sun) and physical bodies (earth). Where we are out of alignment with our higher-selves aka highest-purpose within our egos and bodies are highlighted. If you are aligned, you’ve been feeling like Katy Perry’s song ROAR “I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire…’Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar!” or you’ve been like “meow” or “ffffttt fffttt” or “hhiiisssss”.
August 12th to Sept 5th – Mercury Retrograde (post retrograde ends Sept 19th)
If you have been aligned great, because it doesn’t stop there. Next, Mercury goes retrograde, which means the God Mercury is not around to fill in our weak spots in communication. Mercury Retrograde asks the cosmic question, “Are you communicating your Divine-Purpose to the people around you and the world?”
August 17th to Sept 3rd – Hurricane Harvey (this one is visiting us multiple times)
Harvey asks, “Are you behind the will of your vehicle (body) or are you just spinning out of control and spending your will’s (solar plexus chakra) energy and getting nowhere?” “Are you using your will and its partner the voice to direct yourself in fulfilling your Divine-Purpose with direct, precise and respectful communication, or are you disrespectfully misdirected in your speech and actions?” “Are you tempering yourself or letting your temper cut a destructive path?” “Where have you or are you creating storms in your life?” or maybe you have been a Quiet Storm and you needed to be forced into movement. In that case Harvey is saying, “It is time to make some waves!”
August 21st – Solar Eclipse
Where are you letting your emotions (moon) overshadow your ego (sun), and take the light (awareness) out of your mind and heart.
August 30th to Sept 14th – Hurricane Irma

Sept 6th – Two massive solar flares
There is a big ego and a little ego. The big ego is important, and we all need one! The little ego, on the other hand, is the parts of us that are disconnected from Spirit/God. You have probably experienced some little ego flare ups. These flare ups aren’t fun, but don’t try and ignore them though. But some Aloe Vera gel on them and love those pieces back into harmony, peace and unity.
That is a lot!!! Unfortunately, it ain’t quite over yet. The best thing you can do is continue to Source-Code Translate the specifics of what is happening in your part of the world, so that you can turn the inner and outer turmoil into victory.
